Card Project--A Treat for Someone you Love!

Happy Hump Day! Does anyone else secretly love those Hump day commercials with the camel? Or is it just me?

Today I am going to be sharing with you a little card project that I made for my hubby when he left this last time for his deployment. We were not certain how often we would be able to communicate so I saw this idea on Pinterest and knew it was a winner.

The basics of the card project are buying cards with different themes to the cards (the ones I used are listed below) then the recipient that you gave them to, can open one of the themed cards right away, when they need one of the themes' that is listed on the outside of the card.

These are the different themes' that I used for my cards: (I used nine total but you could use more!)

  •  When you need my love...
  • When you need a pick-me-up...
  •  When you miss me...
  • When you need a smile...:)
  • When you need to know I care...
  • When you are sick...
  • When you have had a bad day...
  • When you need a hug...
  • When you need a laugh...
This could be made for a variety of people in your life to let them know that you care, such as a grandparent, friend/sibling away at school or training, significant other who lives far away or for the military loved one in your life.
I just collected different cards that I saw for a few months at different stores. I also included a personal message along with the pre-printed card message. This is great when someone may need or want to speak with you, but due to whatever circumstances can not always get a hold of you right away, this card can be the next best thing! Did I mention, that this project is also SUPER easy! Seriously, Hallmark has to do most of the work!

I hope you enjoyed this super fun, and easy project!  Make it for someone you love!

Hugs,

Caroline
