Thankful Thursdays

I was having a blah day, and thinking about all the things that I don't like about my new home. Does anyone else ever throw themselves a pity party? But while I was being a negative Nancy and thinking about all the things I don't like about this place, I realized that throwing myself a pity party is not going to make anything better. Instead, I realized I have SO MUCH to be thankful for, and I need to remember that.

So I have decided that every Thursday I will be making a Thankful Thursdays post. This Thursday I am thankful for:

1. Random Strangers: This past Saturday when I hit the deer, a couple who was right behind us, stopped to make sure that we were alright. They even offered to stay with us till the police arrived to fill out the accident report. The kindness of absolute strangers never ceases to amaze me.

2. Car Insurance: I am so thankful that I have car insurance! My insurance company has been awesome handling the claim, and I am just glad that I don't have to pay for the damage out of my pocket!
