Warming up!

This past week, the North Country has had unusually warm weather, and I have been loving it!!!!  The high for this time of year is usually just around the 40's  with snow still on the ground and this past week it has been in the high 50's and early 60's! The warm weather is going to continue this weekend and into next week with  it  possibly getting into the 70's! This weather can stay!

The only downside to this unusually warm weather we are experiencing is that it's usually not this warm up here in the North Country yet, and none of the outdoor activities (i.e. golf courses) have opened up yet! My golf-loving husband has been wanting to play a little golf since he got home, and since we have been having this amazing weather we called up a few places to check on their hours. Unfortunately, all the golf places do not open till the first weekend in April!  :(

Since none of the golf places were open, we decided to stick to an indoor sport, and spent yesterday afternoon at the bowling alley! It also began to rain yesterday afternoon, so I guess it was for the better we didn't venture out to a golf course. Shaun beat me all three rounds we played, and I realized I am not a good bowler! I never even broke a 100! Yikes! 

Does anyone have big plans for St. Patrick's Day? Shaun and I are hoping to check out the North Country Goes Green in Watertown and one of the Irish pubs as well! Because come on, what is St. Patrick's Day without a little green beer!?!
