Chick-Fil-A Love!!!

Chick-fil-A cares and that is so TRUE! I just wanted to share a little about why Chick -fil-A is amazing, I mean if their food is not enough of a draw for you, maybe this little story will put them at the top of your list!

Like, I have mentioned a few hundred times before my dear hubby is currently deployed.  One of the things that he misses a lot is Chick-fil-A.   Unfortunately, sending spicy chicken sandwiches all the way to Afghanistan isn't going to happen, as they won't survive the trip. So like any good wife, I try to improvise with the next best thing, and that for my hubby is Chick-fil-a sauce.

Shaun loves this stuff, (okay me too!) and is his go-to dipping sauce whenever we head to Chick-fil-A.  A while back I sent him a few packs of the sauce, not really sure if he could use it or not. He LOVED it, and  he said he would take them to the dining facility, and used them with his dinner. He asked me to send him some more, so I headed on over to my neighborhood Chick-fil-A.

I went at an off-time because that place gets BUSY! If you ever head to the Springfield Chick-fil-A on Backlick Road (that's my neighborhood one!)  it is a happening place!  I  went up to the counter and told the woman behind the counter that I had an unusual request. I explained my story about how I wanted to send some of the individual packets of Chick-fil-A sauce to my husband, who is currently deployed to Afghanistan, so he can take them with him to dinner, and spice up his meal, or at least make it more yummy! The woman behind the counter graciously said of course, and grabbed a bag and filled it up!

Yep, she filled up an entire bag full of Chick fil-A sauce.  I asked how much I owed her, as  there were at least 20 sauces in the bag, and she replied nothing, that it was their pleasure.

I went home that day, overwhelmed by her generosity and kindness. I decided to log onto my Yelp account and to leave a post about my experience that day and also my past experiences at my neighborhood Chick-fil-A--that I always had  good service and great f00d.  I really didn't expect anything else to come after that, but Chick fil-A is awesome (in case you didn't know!) and two days later I received a personal email from the store manager.

In the email she expressed that her and her store employees were happy to help out a service member, and it was the least that they could do. She hoped he enjoys his sauces and that it gives him a little taste of home, till he returns home. You see, Chick-fil-A does care  just like the bag says! They also ROCK!!!!

So go and visit your neighborhood Chick fil-A because they are great! :)

Hugs,

Caroline
